Treating minor burns & scalds
1. Soothe with cold water 10mts or cold canned drinks, milk.
2. If blisters appear, dont burst them as might cause infection. Apply burn cream.
3. Cover injured part with non stick sterile dressing to help stop infection.
4. Bandage the dressing loosely in place.
5. Chk circulation by pressing nails/skin until it becomes pale, release. Shd take not more than 3secs.
