daily beauty regimen
To always look best, follow regimen, take good diet, exercise/walk, do stress relief regimen(yoga, meditation, pranayama), take long relaxing bath, get beauty sleep.
Cleanse- To open pores. Apply cleansers on face & neck.

1/2c besan(absorbs extra oil)+1t haldi+1/2c milk/milk cream(nourishes) paste 2mts, wash.

Natures most effective cleanser. 1/2c milk+1/2t salt with cotton ball dab, 3mts, apply again, rub gently in circular motions, wash. Or 50ml raw milk+pinch salt+2t l.j to cleanse deep pores & detanner too.

1cucumber j+4Tcurd, 4mts, wash. Also tightens pores, lightens blemishes & freckles, nourishes skin. Just grated c.ber enough.

Curd- good for dry skin. 1/2c curd+1/2t honey, apply, rub it in gently, leave 3mts, wash.
Tone- To close pores.

Toner pack- Mashed fine c.ber + curd to face, wash after 10mts.

Rub tomato for shrinking pores & toning.
Exfoliate- To remove dead cells with scrubs.

Normal skin- oat flour + little basil + s.wood pow + rose petals + milk paste.

Dry skin- Almond pow+milk+egg. Exfoliating mask & skin lightener.

Blemished skin- oat flour + clay pow + aswagandha + coriander + cumin + fen.s + gin + neem + pinch haldi + curd.
- 2Teach oatmeal+ honey + curd pack once a wk.
Bleach

Raw potato slices on face as often as u can. It is a natural bleach & exfoliator too.
Facial
-
Skin looks best 2days after facial so plan accordingly for functions.
Make up- Only if necessary.
Moisturize- To provide moisture.

Msg cream on cracked heals to soften & heal.
Twice a wk- Face packs. To be effective, do steaming 1st. But freq steaming not advised for dry skin as draws out moisture. Add p.mints, rose petals, mint petals while steaming for refreshed feeling. Put cotton dipped in chilled milk/rose h20 on eyes.
- Normal skin- E.white + carrot + honey.
- Dry skin- E.white + 1t honey + sunflower oil.
- Oily skin- 2t multana mitti + 2t chilled rose h20. twice a wk also fine.
- Antiwrinkle- Cook 2t oatmeal + 1/2c milk well, mix in 2t olive oil, let cool, apply.
- Fruit packs: Mix packs below with besan for dry to normal skins & for oily skins with multana mitti, apply to neck & face, leave 15mts, wash off.
- Apple: Mashed + honey.
- Banana: Mashed + e.white + l.juice. lightens blemishes, spots.
- Carrot: c’d & mashed + curd + l.juice.
- Cucumber: Grate + rose h20. Relaxing summer pack.
- Grapes: 1:1 pulp + honey.
- Mint: Crushed + rose h20/milk for acne.
- Tomato: mashed alone or with milk for oily skin.
Pigmentation- packs make u fair.
- 5almonds pasted + 1t fresh cream + few drops l.j to face, neck, leave 15mts.
- Mashed papaya
- Sesame seeds paste + haldi in 1:1ratio.
- Tulsi(basil) leaves paste.
- 1t milk pow+1t honey+1t l.j+1/2t alm oil pack 15mts.
- raw alu thin slices on face
- l.j+haldi paste. bleach.
- or peel+curd
overnight remedies

Wash face, apply equal qty’s c.ber j, rose h20, l.j. Clears complexion, face glows.

Apply 50ml tom j+1t l.j. Makes skin soft & glowing.

Apply orange j with cotton. Smooth & soft skin

Apply 30ml cabbage j+1t honey. Apply regularly so no wrinkles.

Raw carrot paste. wonderful glowing skin.

Equal qty’s lime j, glycerin, rose h20 regularly all over body at bedtime to remove pimples, blackheads, blemishes & for soft skin. Apply after bath also.
Manicure: Do regularly

Key to beautiful nails is moisturising all the time.

Biotin rice foods(egg, soy, whole grains, liver), Sulphur foods(apple, c.ber, grapes, garlic, asparagus, onion), EFA’s(salmon, nuts, seeds, tuna) help keep nails shiny, pliable.

When u put hands in h20, keratin swells & shrinks when dry, which weakens bonds that hold up the nail matrix & causes brittle nails. Soak 10mts at night in baby oil/olive oil, keep nails short, file with sponge center, use oil based not acetone remover

As soon as u finish washing dishes, msg oil into hands when damp. Do above scrub regularly. Same to nails.
Pedicure- once a wk.

Soak feet in warm salty water. Dry well, specially betn toes. Remove old polish. Trim nails with a piece of scissors so that they are leveled with the top of ur toes, following the toe. Try not to cut into the skin. File each nail until smooth. Put cotton wool betn each toe to reduce chances of getting polish on ur skin. Apply a base coat. Apply 1 or 2 colour coats. Apply a top coat. Pamper with petroleum jelly or lanolin before u go to bed.

While bathing remove dead skin with pumice stone & loofah. Do twice a day. Every wk, exfoliate with mashed s.berry or crushed almonds+olive or almond oil+salt rubbing harshly, leave 15mts, rinse.

Scrub: Msg regularly into feet 1:1 c.nut oil & l.juice, leave 5mts, add sugar to remaining mix & scrub well, wash it off, apply moisturiser.
To remove unwanted hair from face

Hair

Deep conditioning treatments every alternate day.

Lemon j as hair rinse adds bounce & shine to hair.
Detox diet: raw veggies, fruits, lot of h20, avoid salt, fat.

Msg body regularly with coconut or almond oil.

Take vit E daily or add couple of vit E capsules to msg oil.

Smear area with e.white, let dry, wash with icy cold h20 to get rid of marks completely.
Bed time regimen

Soak feet in warm water+little salt for instant relief from achy feet. If cracked, apply 1t vaseline+1l.j / glyycerine+rose h20, dry feet, apply talc later. Sleep with feet on pillow 15mts for relief from tired feet, to reduce swelling due to h20 retention.

Daily beauty regimen
- Need to take care daily as more oil glands esp’lly center of forehead, eye areas, nose, chin. So do brief morning care & longer regime in night before bed.
- Morning: Wash face with mild glycerine soaps. Msg cleanser into face, cleanse with wet sponge. Apply rose h20/ toner/ icecube to clear hidden dirt. Apply astringent if oily, moisturize, apply makeup if want.
- Evening care: Wash face, scrub, wash, apply rose h20, leave face to breathe through night. Apply under eye cream liberally under eyes which is a must.

Exfoliation
- Manual: Using abrasive products like silk mitts, wash cloths, loofahs, body scrubs. Soft body brushes/loofahs good for dry exfoliation. They rejuvenate detoxifying body by improving circulation. Start from feet, move to upper body in short circular motions. Once u finish, bath as usual. For face use besan flour or readymade scrubs mixed with haldi which removes blackheads & suntan. 2-3times/wk for oily skin & once for other skins.
- Chemical: Less irritating & less damaging, prescribed by dermatologists. Done once a mth at parlors.
- Scrubs: Massage for 2mts 2Thoney+2t sea salt on alternate days, rinse off with warm h20, then splash ice cold h20 to close pores, moisturize. Apply sunscreen before going outside as after scubbing, more susceptible to sun damage. Honey is a natural antioxidant & also keeps skin sterile during exfoliation as it is an antibacterial. Sea salt not only scrubs but also stimulates new skin cell growth. Don’t scrub too long or too hard in same area as this will only aggravate the skin.
- Microderm abrasion cloth contains micro fibers, that wonderfully slough off dead skin. You will see/feel the difference after first use. Do only once a week or will result in dry, irritated skin.
- A glycolic acid peel can offer people a low-risk, inexpensive way to polish their skin’s appearance.

Hand care
Dark elbows: Msg l.juice + milk cream + haldi regularly.
Scrub 1: Rub table salt lightly in circular motions from fingertips to upper arms, wash off for smooth skin.
2: Soak oatmeal in milk 5mts, msg into arms, leave 15mts, wash off for smooth & fair skin.
Apply regularly hand lotion of equal parts rose h20, l.juice, glycerine, refrigerate airtight. Apply little of this at bed time for 15mts, wash off.
Sun tan: Apply equal parts tom juice, l.juice, milk 10mts, scrub with besan+haldi, wash.
Winter dryness: olive oil + few drops milk to arms 15mts, wash.

Home facial
- Cleansing & scrubbing: Tie hair into tight bun, msg face & neck with 1Trice flour + curd + pinch haldi in circular motions delicately without force, wipe off with cotton s’d in warm h20. Then wash face with cold h20, pat dry.
- Toning: Msg face & neck with toner with taps & strokes. Clean with cotton dipped in warm h20.
- Steaming: Do 5-10mts or dip towel in hot h20, put on face, remove when cool, repeat 3times.
- Face pack: Any fruit pack that suits ur skin type.
- Moisturize: Apply moisturizer.

Henna for hair
Mix in iron vessel 1c henna pow, 1l.juice, 1e.white, 4t curd, 1c tea decoction, leave 4hrs. Henna changes to dark brown. Apply, wash off after 2hrs without shampoo. Apply oil immediately. Next day, shampoo & condition.
Mehendi hair oil: Grind 2c mehendi leaves with little h20 to thick paste, shape into sm flat pcs, sundry, store air tight. B to boil 1/2kg c.nut oil, add 1/2t p.corn, let splutter, cool, add to mehendi pcs, keep airtight 2days. Oil changes to dark green, strain, use when needed leaving rest in container itself. When oil gets over, heat more oil & add to mehendi pcs. U can use it twice if u like but dont use mehendi pcs if doesn’t change color. Add new pcs to oil.

Mehendi
For 1cone which can cover 2hands fully, mix in stainless steel vessel 1heaping tsp mehendi pow(see its not sitting on shelf for long time as looses power & shd be bright green with grassy, earthy aroma), 1/2t sugar, 1/2t tam.paste, as muxh l.juice to form paste. Let sit o.night airtight without air bubbles. Mix in 1/2t ess oil(eucalyptus & tea tree). Keep covered 5hrs. U’ll know that dye has released when top part of henna is brown & brown liquid is seeping out of the paste. Trick is mix in 3:2 proportion of liquid to pow. When mehendi is let fall from spoon, if falls goopily, then is at right consistency but if falls in strings will allow u to create fine links.
For dabbing on damp paste to keep it moist & help secure it to skin, mix 2Tsugar in 2Tl.juice well, use.
For best rslts, sleep with it o.night, scrape it off, leave it untouched by h20 for 10hrs. The deep color lasts 2wks. After use, store mehendi pow airtight in cool, dry place where not exposed to light at all.

Hair problems
Reasons for hairfall / Dandruff / any hair problem could be
(i) Excess Sweat in the head part (ii) High salt content in sweat/ blood (iii) Dust collection due to oily hair (iv) Body heat (v) Hereditory (vi) Tensions in mind.
–> Excess sweat flow can be due to working conditions / climatic conditions , or speedy blood flow in body more than needed. To regulate this , do Yoga or Pranayama that regulates blood flow. This may sound indirect or no way connected to hair loss – but a regulated blood flow is imp for any function/ growth of any element in our body.
–> To reduce salt content , take watery vegetables, melons regularly as part of everyday meal. This can help u in lot of things. Keeps body light, helps dig system with lesser work load, u’ll not feel drowsy during day etc. Note : My everyday lunch is just a bowl of fresh cut fruits .
–> Our hair can act as a dust collector many a times , when we travel outdoor. So , cover hair with cotton scarf , do not use synthetic scarfes as it may increase the sweat ratio. Shampoo hair with natural items like paste made of hibiscus leaves , curry leaves , Amla powder etc.
–> To get rid of dandruff , fine grind h.ful methi , 20 p.corns ( white or black ), mix with curd , refrigerate it in night. Apply it on hair – touching the roots. This can act as a conditioner & dandruff killer as well.
–> Hereditory hair problems are tough to address, however constant trials can help reduce the chances of excess hair fall. Reduction in intake of c’d food with salt, sugar, spice, addition of fresh vegs , fruits.
–> Tensions ! leads to speedy flow of blood rate than needed & sweat glands reacting to the same. So keep urself cool!
Tips to condition hair & help them grow faster, thicker, stronger.
> Msg head regularly with 2-3t olive oil.
> Chew h.ful curry leaves in morning on empty stomach, provides good amount of Iron & Prots reqd for hair growth. Also helps bowels clean with no constipation, improves eyevision.
> Wash hair with natural green pastes with curry leaves, amla, hibiscus flower & leaves, aloe vera, methi etc.
> Gingely oil msg & bathing every wkend
> More greens in meal

5. take ur hair into pony and then split the hair into two portions make two individual plaits of the hair and pin them up rolling or making it half ( remember school days)and pin up neat style for office also.

Hair care tips
1. Apply olive oil (or Musturd Oil) at bed time and wash off the hair next morning.
2. Boil mustard oil. A regular massage of this oil is helpful.
3. Always maintain a balanced diet with exercise for healthy hair. Drinking plenty of water and eating plenty of raw fruits and vegetables is probably the best way to achieving healthy hair.
4. Wash your hair with a paste of cooked Urad dal (black beans) and fenugreek (methi) 2-3 times a week.
5. Trim the hair every 4 to 5 weeks even if you are growing it.
6. Coconut oil mixed with lime- juice on the hair applied daily is also good for hair health .
7. Don’t use any old rubber band as they tend to break or split hair. Instead just use a scrunchy or a fabric coated elastic band.
8. Don’t brush wet hair too harshly because its three times weaker and more likely to break off mid strand. Towel dry hair first, then gently detangle using a wide toothed comb.
9. Rinsing your hair with lemon juice can bring life and shine back to dull hair.
10. If you have dandruff then apply a mixture of vinegar and water on the scalp before you go to bed. Keep it overnight. Rinse your head with vinegar water again in the morning. You will see the result within few weeks.
11. Another good way to get rid of dandruff is to soak ground fenugreek seeds overnight in water and massage the paste on the head, leaving it for a few minutes and then wash it.
12. Mix Banana in Honey and apply on hair for 30 – 40 min, and then wash it for that sheen in your hair.
13. For stopping your hair from getting grey, you can mix Bhringraj (Eclipta elba), Amala, corals, iron and black sesame seeds. It is very useful and even stops the graying of hair.
14. Another good way is to keep head of healthy hair is to Apply juice of green coriander leaves on the head.
15. Massage of olive oil and almond oil on your scalp is a good cure of dandruff.
16. Mash 8s.berries with 1Tmayonnaise, msg into washed, damp hair. Cover with a shower cap, then a warm towel. Wash out with a shampoo/conditioner combination. This luscious mix of rich acidic berries will leave hair both conditioned & with rich gloss.
Whatever goes into your body is reflective on the outside including ur hair & skin.
