Home made herbal shampoos
- Egg Shampoo- Beat 1Le.white until foamy, blend in 1e.yolk, then 3Tcastile soap. Wet hair with warm h20, msg 1/2shampoo into scalp. Rinse well, then msg remaining shampoo into scalp. Leave on hair 1min, rinse thoroughly with warm h20.
- Neem shampoo- Mix 1kg flour, 1kg shikakai powder, 1/4kg sandalwood powder, 4-5c neem leaves powder, keep in airtight bottle. When needed, soak 2T in 1c h20, apply.
- Dry Shampoo- Cornstarch is used to absorb hairs oils. Sprinkle 1/2c cornstarch in hair, let it absorb for a few mts, brush it out. This is great if u’re in a pinch.
- Herbal shampoo: Stir on low 1/4c any herbal tea strongly brewed, 8oz liquid castile soap until well blended. Store in capped bottle.
- Hibiscus Shampoo- Crush 1bunch hibiscus leaves with little h20 well, apply to hair directly or strain. Add few drops of veg essential oil.
- Methi-shikakai shampoo: Crush 1kg shikakai, 1/4kg methi, h.ful orange/lemon peels into a powdery form, soak in 1/2c h20 2hrs, apply.
